_{[The nose recedes, replaced by a crooked (and slightly blurry, because that is what happens when you rub your nose all over the screen) view of two enormous green eyes. ... And then the sky. And then the eyes again.]}

<sub>[Looks like somebody's getting used to his new mouth... and finally trying to use the weird contraption he'd been given now that he's all out of food (which didn't last long) ... Which of course includes putting the PokeGear into his mouth, giving viewers the lovely experience of viewing an uvula up close, in case they ever wanted to do that. Even if they did, they probably don't want to anymore.]

[Smeared with drool, the 'Gear is eventually pulled from his mouth again, this time showing his whole face. The burly black-haired teen smacks his lips a few times, looking down at the device with disgust. Hadn't really expected it to taste good, but it had been worth a try... He'd definitely heard it making noises and moving, though... and it's more complicated than anything he's ever seen before... Toothless knows only one person who can make things this complicated.]</sub>

MMmmmng. Guh. Kht. Khp kuhp kuhp. Hhh. Hhkp. PLTH.

_{[After blowing a raspberry in his disgust at how hard it is to make even regular noises with this weird, small, toothy mouth, he decides he'll just have to express his worry at this startling new situation another way. The 'Gear is promptly dropped, giving a sideways view of a pair of stubby hands clumsily clawing around in the dirt. Moments later? It's picked up again, because Toothless is proudly showing it (and therefore anybody watching) his work, which is a large tangle of incomprehensible squiggly lines. Toothless makes a proud, satisfied noise.]}

Mhhrh.

_{[Now Hiccup will SURELY find him and find a way to make it all better again. c:]}

[Letting out a frustrated chuff, he curls his lip to expose a row of distinctly sharp teeth, letting out a rumbling growl in the process.]

[Those are certainly impressive teeth, but before Isa can get his brain around the implications behind it, there's an answering rumble from behind him, and a Tyranitar drops its head down into view.]

<sub>[--OHMAGOSH!! So there were other dragons! It doesn't look like any species Toothless recognizes, but a dragon's a dragon.]

[The fact that under normal circumstances, the sudden appearance of a fellow dragon could occasionally be a cause of alarm was of little concern to him right now. He was too happy to see at least ONE of his own kind.]

[Perking up instantly, he lets out a loud croak of greeting, positively quivering with excitement.]</sub>

[He's not a dragon as Isa would classify him (he's let the typings get to him, and Tyranitar is no dragon-type), but he'll grant that he certainly looks the part.

As for the Tyranitar himself, there's a similar greeting from him, expressed as a rumble and a nod.]

[There's a considering pause and then Aeleus (that being the Tyranitar's name) turns briefly to show his back to Toothless. No wings here, man. Just some fairly imposing looking spikes.]

[He's never seen a dragon without wings. Even the stubby, potato-like Gronkles still had those dinky little hummingbirdesque ones.]

[But... m-maybe this one lost theirs in an accident, or a fight? ... Or maybe dragons are just different here...]

[Either way, he lets out a sort of sympathetic croon. 8(]</sub>

[Nope, no wings. Not that Aeleus minds. He hasn't ever had wings, and is, in fact, slightly confused as to why exactly Toothless is offering a sympathetic noise. There's nothing been lost.

His answer is a low rumble that's slightly confused but otherwise about the equivalent of 'nah, 's cool'.]
