Red Fish [Video/Action for Cherrygrove City]
[The video begins with a great deal of commotion.]
[It would seem that it turned on right in the middle of some kind of confrontation-- ... in the water, no less.]
[There's a lot of splashing around, and judging from the murky visuals on the screen, the 'Gear is in a pocket, and being continually plunged in and out of the surf. Finally, the sky rolls around, although it's soon replaced by a tumbling view of wet sand, sky, wet sand again, and then finally, the owner of the 'Gear, staggering out of the waves and trundling up onto the beach.]
[It's Toothless, sopping wet and growling possessively, his normally-spiky hair hanging down around his face like seaweed.]
[... But what will probably catch most peoples' attention is the fact that he appears to have a fairly sizable Magikarp, still squirming and flopping, lodged partway down his throat.]
[... And with some hurk-hurk-hurking noises, he's trying to swallow the rest of it, too.]
[Wellp. He's in for a rude awakening...]

[Wellp. He's in for a rude awakening...]
Hey. Hey. Hey, guy. Hey. That thing will kill you.
[Henry actually remembered what those things turned INTO. He'd never had the patience to actually raise on in the game, but he remembered.]
[Toothless curls his lip and continues trying to choke down the fish. It doesn't look like it's working, though. The Magikarp is putting up a valiant battle.]
Toothless, spit it out. You cannot eat those.
[Toothless glares at the screen defiantly. The Magikarp's tail is flapping around and occasionally hitting him in the side of the face, but he doesn't care.]
Hrrk.
[And that's...pretty much the least of it. WHAT WERE YOU, RAISED IN A CAVE?
It's 'barn', Ziva, but this is more appropriate anyway.][video]

H-Hey, hey! What in the world are you trying to do?!
[As though to answer the question, Toothless sort of... heaves his shoulders like a cat trying to swallow an entire squirrel.]
[The Magikarp flails desperately. OH GOD PLEASE I HAVE A FAMILY.]

What.
Machi's seen a lot in his short life--a lot more than anyone really needs to have. But.
There. Are.
No. Words.
The pianist is suddenly caught in a bind, though; he can't do or say anything under the cover of his supposed blindness--he can't even react.
Well, he can react to the noise.
Which he does.
By throwing a big rock in Toothless' general direction--although it sails quite wide.]
[Action]
[Head whipping around, he narrows his eyes and lets out a muffled growl. If he'd still had his ear-like flaps, they'd have been pinned back. But as such, he just hunkers down and bats a hefty spray of sand in Machi's direction with both arms.]
[YOU CAN'T HAVE HIS FISH. >8(]
Re: [Action]
The sand falls sadly short, spattering on the shore and grass with a faint paff of wet grit. Machi neither moves nor reacts, standing and facing Toothless with an expression that is as dispassionate as it is disinterested; he acts for all the world like he doesn't even know it happened.
But of course, he does, and he... well, actually, he's a little bit alarmed.
Pathetic as that was--and that was pretty pathetic, Toothless--he's reminded briefly of the crazy people who live and starve and die on the streets of Borginia--the ones who think things are other things, or that things are or aren't where they aren't or are.
This could be bad.
Or it could just be really annoying.
Rather than turning tail and running (which would give up his act and also invite pursuit), he chooses to stand his ground, stoic expression flat and unmoving--he doesn't look very impressed.]
[Action]
[Action] I give up trying to make this not sound stupid.
[Action] IT DOESN'T SOUND STUPID, YOU'RE FINE.

Umm... I don't think people can eat pokémon...
[... Oh. Oh hey. It's kinda hard to breathe with this thing lodged in his throat.]

Perhaps you should cook it first.
[ CAN DRAGONS EVEN UNDERSTAND? ]
[He was never sure why Hiccup always did that-- it still tasted all right, he supposed, but it wasn't the same thing as slurping down a nice, slick fish right out of the water.]
[But one thing is right, this fish ISN'T very tasty. 8( The scales are awfully hard.]
[But still, Toothless tries extra hard to choke it down, just out of defiance.]
[... Fortunately, his human throat is sort of... small.]
..That's one nasty looking fish.
Now, how can he get him to stop choking himself without sounding nagging...]
Mmm~mm, that fish looks gooo~d. [He looks around with a smile, places his hand beside his mouth as if blocking view of his lips and leans into the camera, hushing his voice.] Hey, kiddo, I'll let you in on a little secret... fish tastes muu~ch better if you cut it up. [He's not lying. He doesn't like to lie.]
[The best part of fish was feeling the whole thing slide down your throat! No human ever seemed to understand that-- not even Hiccup, who had understood Toothless far more than any other of his kind. Even though he was the one who had fed him every day since he'd received the injury that stopped him from flying, the clumsy young Viking had always seemed fairly disgusted by all that raw fish. Not that Toothless really minded-- all the more for him!]
[Either way, the suggestion is met with a stubborn growl as Toothless hunkers down like a cat with a mouse in its mouth.]
[And then he tries to swallow it a little more.]
Video;
You really should not eat that.
Video;
[The Magikarp flails harder at the sound of Rose's voice. OH GOD PLEASE HELP.]

[Why didn't he think of that.
[The solution to all of his future money problems.]
[So Stitch tentatively leans a liiitle closer to the Gear and lifts his hand a bit as if trying to grab the fish from Toothless, still staring wide-eyed]
Rrrr...
[Withdrawing from the screen slightly, as though he actually thinks Stitch CAN take the fish through the screen, Toothless curls his lip up and bares his sharper-than-average teeth.]
RRRRRRRRRRR....
